The Anti-Enshittification Stack
When streaming services fragment their libraries across a dozen different apps, raise prices, and introduce unskippable ads into "premium" tiers, the path we walk becomes more and more difficult and expensive. We are done with that.

How do I get access?
Technis is invite-only for friends and family. If you know the admin personally, reach out to request an invitation. We keep it small to ensure everyone gets personal support and the best experience.
Is my data really private?
Absolutely. All services run on hardware I physically control. There's no third-party cloud, no analytics, no telemetry. Your data never leaves the network unless you explicitly share it. Backups are encrypted before leaving the premises.
What happens if something breaks?
The entire infrastructure is monitored 24/7 with automated alerts. Most issues are detected and resolved before you'd notice. For anything user-facing, you can reach out directly and I'll help troubleshoot. It's a perk of being friends and family.
Can I request new services?
Yes! I'm always looking to expand what Technis offers. If there's a self-hosted alternative to something you're paying for, let me know. I evaluate based on security, stability, and how useful it would be for the group.
How do backups work?
Every service has automated backups that run daily. Critical data (passwords, photos, documents) is backed up to encrypted off-site storage. I test restoration regularly to make sure everything actually works when needed.
What devices are supported?
Everything works through a web browser, so any device with a modern browser is supported. Most services also have native apps for iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux. Smart TVs and streaming devices work great with Plex/Jellyfin.
Is there a cost?
Nope. This is a labor of love for people I care about. The only 'payment' I ask for is feedbackālet me know what works, what doesn't, and what you wish existed. That helps me make Technis better for everyone. Oh and don't forget me on birthdays!
What's the catch?
No catch. I built this because I believe everyone deserves privacy and control over their digital life without needing a CS degree. The skills I use here are also for my personal and professional development, so it's a win-win-win.
